Inkscape 1.3.1 instal the new for apple

The beginning of the crash report (attached) looks like this. I get a crash window (full report attached)

I click save and get a second window about contributing and funding (I promise I will donate)

I get an initial dialog about Canvas/Appearance/Keyboard. I reinstalled from the disk image and inkscape (launched from Finder) still crashes. I deleted inkscape from /Applications/ and move upgrading, I moved. My initial installation had the crash problem. I upgraded to Sonoma recently and reinstalled Inkscape Inkscape-1.3.2_arm64.dmg.
